Rooted in community,
growing together

A ward defined by its resilience, diversity, and deep connection to the land and people of North-Western Province.

Solwezi Central Ward is a vibrant community at the heart of Solwezi, the capital of North-Western Province — Zambia's fastest-growing economic hub, driven by copper mining and commerce.

Established in the 1980s, our ward has grown into a thriving neighbourhood characterised by its entrepreneurial spirit, educational focus, and commitment to sustainable development.

Today, the ward stands as a model for community-led development — from clean-up campaigns to youth empowerment initiatives — we lead by example.
